Laweta Casiano

Laweta Casiano has been singing & directing for 17 years. She founded & directed Powerhouse Youth Outreach Ministries which ministered in countless missions, churches, and youth detention facilities for 5 years. She has hosted a plethora of concerts featuring such gospel artist as Keisha Ealey (of Kurt Carr fame), Chosen Generation, Soldiers On Soul Patrol, Keyo, and many more. She has shared the stage as a vocalist with countless anointed singers at various church and industry functions, singers such as: Lisa McClendon, Dr. Judith McAllister, Shirley Ceasar, Eddie Baltrip & Fulfillment, Tonex, J Moss, Deitrick Haddon, Shea Norman, Micah Stampley, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, Josh Groban and many more. She has also lent her vocals for studio recordings of projects by: Kevin Kelley, The Noises 10, The Greater Los Angeles Cathedral Choir, and Min. William Johnson & Echoes of Worship.

Laweta Casiano also founded and is the choirmaster/manager of indie gospel recording artist the Greater Los Angeles Cathedral Choir (2005-2006 McDonald's Gospelfest Winners - Adult Category) who released their Debut CD entitled "Because I Have Faith" January 2007 in which she leads the title track. She is also serving in music ministry at her local church, City of Refuge, as an active Praise Team member. Laweta holds a Bachelors Degree in CIS (Computer Information Systems) and is both the loving wife of Manuel Casiano and proud mother of Chynell Marie Casiano. With all that God has done she will continue to STRIVE TOWARDS THE MASTERY IN MINISTRY THROUGH CHRIST JESUS!
